We are not required to appoint a data protection officer. For any privacy question, mail info@opgewektevents.com.

This website itself collects nothing from you. There is no contact form, no newsletter sign-up and no account to create. Browsing the site stores no personal data in our database.

E-mail you send us. Contact runs over e-mail: the address in the site footer copies itself and opens your own mail program addressed to info@opgewektevents.com. If you mail us we process your e-mail address, your name (if you give it) and the content of your message, plus whatever your mail program adds to the message itself. We use it only to answer you, and it lives in our mailbox at our e-mail provider — not in this website. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in handling incoming questions (art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), or the preparation of an agreement if your message is about a booking or collaboration (art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Abuse protection. To block automated attacks on the non-public part of this website, failed sign-in attempts are counted for a short time against the IP address they came from. These counters hold nothing else about you, are never written to our database and are discarded shortly afterwards. Legal basis: legitimate interest in the security of the site (art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Server logs. Our hosting environment may record technical request data, including IP address, timestamp, requested URL and browser user agent, for security and troubleshooting. Legal basis: legitimate interest in the security and integrity of the site (art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Photos from events. Photo reports we publish under Gallery may show visitors. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in documenting and promoting our events (art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). If you recognise yourself and would rather not appear, mail us and we will remove the photo.

We do not collect special categories of personal data, we do not profile visitors, and we take no automated decisions about you. We never sell your data.

This site sets no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. There are no third-party trackers, no social media pixels and no embedded widgets that load from other domains. The web fonts are bundled with the site and served from our own domain, so your browser does not contact Google to render this page.

That leaves only what is strictly necessary to operate the site — which is why you see a notice rather than a consent choice:

Keeps the small team that maintains this website signed in while they work on it. It is set only after a successful sign-in and is never set for regular visitors.

Remembers that you dismissed the cookie notice, so the bar does not reappear on every page. Contains no personal data and is not sent to our server.

Retention: Until you clear your browser storage.

You can delete both at any time through your browser settings. Doing so has no effect on browsing the public site.

E-mail correspondence is kept for as long as needed to handle your question and for our own records, and is deleted from our mailbox at the latest 12 months after the conversation ends. The abuse protection counters described above are held for minutes at most. Published event photos remain online for as long as the photo report stays up, unless you ask us to remove one.

Your e-mail is read only by the people who run Opgewekt Events. Two processors are involved: our e-mail provider, which handles the mailbox, and our hosting provider, which runs this website — both under a data processing agreement. We share your data with no one else, and this site contains no third-party marketing or analytics tools.

Our servers and data are located inside the European Economic Area. We do not transfer personal data to countries outside the EEA.

Ticket links take you to external ticketing platforms (for example Stager or the venue’s own shop), resale runs through TicketSwap, and our social buttons lead to Instagram and Facebook. Nothing is sent to those parties until you click; once you are on their site their own privacy policy applies, not ours.

Traffic to and from this site is encrypted with HTTPS. We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access, and access to our systems and stored data is limited to the people who need it to do their work.

We do not publish the details of those measures. Describing them would make it easier to work around them, which would not serve anyone whose data we hold. If you believe you have found a security problem, mail info@opgewektevents.com and we will look into it.

Under the GDPR (in the Netherlands: the AVG) you have the right to:

When the site changes in a way that affects your data, we update this page and the date at the top. Material changes will be announced on the site.
