Opgewekt started in Arnhem.

What began as a single hardtechno night in Willemeen quickly became something bigger. Not because we set out to build the biggest event, but because the energy in the room showed us there was space for something new.

A place for the harder side of techno.
For raw rooms, heavy sound and a crowd that comes for more than just the line-up.

From Willemeen, we made the step to Luxor Live. Bigger rooms, multiple stages, larger productions and a community that continued to grow with us.

But the idea behind Opgewekt never changed.

We believe an event is more than the hours between opening and closing. It is the anticipation before it starts, the people you meet inside, the artists, the atmosphere and the moments people still talk about afterwards.

That is what we want to build. Not just individual nights, but a culture around them.

Born in Arnhem. Built together with the people on our dancefloor. And still only at the beginning.

The next chapter will take Opgewekt beyond the rooms where it started.
